Pacific Air Cargo LLC (PAC) today announced that it had concluded an agreement with Hawaii-based Transair to provide scheduled air cargo services throughout the islands of Hawaii, with onward connections to the United States mainland.
Pacific Air Cargo Founder and Chief Executive, Ms. Beti Ward said, “Today’s agreement extends the already existing co-operation between our two companies and will provide a greater reach for both of us.” Adding, “Pacific Air Cargo currently operates six scheduled B747 freighter services between Los Angeles and Honolulu every week, and today’s agreement will now allow us to add seamless daily connections to all the neighbor islands. I would like to take this opportunity to thank PAC management team members Thomas Ingram, Tanja Janfruechte and Jim Parton for their good work which led to today’s agreement. ”
Transair is Hawaii’s longest running All Cargo Airline, having provided un-interrupted service since 1982. The airline operates a fleet of Bombardier SD3-60 and Boeing 737-300 aircraft to Kauai, Maui, Kona and Hilo with extended service to Lanai and Molokai. In addition, Transair offers cargo charters to all points within the State of Hawaii.
